Masai Herdsman
1987
oil, 30" x 22"

The life of the Masai people revolves entirely around their cattle. They tend the herds from boyhood, drink the cattle milk and blood; their wealth is measured in the numbers of animals they possess and the walls, floors and roofs of their houses are plastered with cow dung.
