| Known for her bright outdoor scenes populated with brightly colored depictions of people, artist Sally Caldwell Fisher now turns her eye to the landscape. "I have returned to the landscape out of love for the beauty of the world around me," says the artist. "The human presence is always implied at the very least. I desire to be a strong unseen presence, involved in the scene before me." Her lively landscapes have recently been commissioned for the 2008 Wooden Boat Show in Mystic, Connecticut and the Yarmouth Clam Festival. |
