Discovery and Lifecycle Species People and Manor Catalogue Mewingham Manor Greenwich Workshop

Discovered in the woodlands at Mewingham Manor, but widely distributed throughout the world wherever there are old trees. Most comfortable out of doors, but can sometimes be found in the woodbox next to the fireplace. A sweet-tempered but playful breed of "Flitten." Plays hide and seek in hollow logs or the woodbox with the mice.

The Log Dweller loves all forests, but needs old growth trees because they require hollow logs to live in. Also likes dry leaves, brush piles and moss. Hates praries, steppes and grasslands.

Moved readily into the manor house where they immediately caused a series of small catastrophies. They are naturally attracted to the doings of the Tiny Mischief. The winged mice are less delighted with them, since the Mess Maker seems incapable of even walking across a tea table without upsetting one of their little plots to steal the crumpets. Calamity and disorder follows the Mess Maker as surely as night follows day.

The Mess Maker loves crystal, china, glass and the tinkle all these make when they tip over. Loathes quiet, sitting still, classical music and poetry readings.

Physically look much like mice, but a far more evolved species. Highly intelligent and inventive. Capable of reading. Understands human language. None of these fine traits, however, are put to good use. Tiny mischief is here for fun and the height of their day is a good prank.

Tiny Mischief flees the scene of the latest mess.

No one knows quite when the tiny mice decided (as the captain's log states, he didn't choose them, they chose him!) to join Captain Katt's voyages. They're everywhere at Mewingham, gleefully teasing, spoofing and bedeviling whomever or whatever can be prey to their wicked sense of fun.

Tiny Mischief hides in a tiny hole.

Tiny Mischief loves a good time, gossip, pranks, champagne, cheesecake, cookies and beetle races.
