TERRESTRIAL
TABBY About Terrestrial Tabby... Discovered by Captain Katt on a voyage across the Pacific Ocean while searching for clean drinking water on an uncharted island. The Captain found the leaf litter under certain hardwood trees which contained many of the small-winged creatures. They proved to be an easy capture and he brought a number of them back to the Manor. A singularly lazy species, each of these little creatures lives its entire life in a roughly four foot square territory underneath the tree where it was born. The Terrestrial Tabby is a lazy and remarkably sedentary creature. If it were not for their natural camouflage coloring, which allows them to blend into their surroundings, they would be very vulnerable to predators. They are so stationary, in fact, they are often mistaken for tree roots. All nutritional needs are met by the oak tree. They dine on fresh fallen leaves and acorns. The tabbies feed heavily in the warm months to make up for the lesser nutritional value of the dried leaves they feed on in the winter, during which they go into a state of semi-hibernation. Laying around, naps. Moving, meddlesome mice. |
