About Tea Rose Tabby...

Discovered by Captain Katt right under his very nose in rose bushes flowering amid the hedges around the manor house.

Tea Rose Tabbies are drawn to the sweet smell of the rose blossom. They are sometimes found in bouquets of roses, mixed with the buds in bridal bouquets and have even found themselves in the aisles of churches after dozing off in baskets of rose petals.

They are sweet "rosie" tempered and affectionate little animals. They are rare and gladly welcomed into any home lucky enough to receive one in a floral delivery.

Roses, rose petal sachet, Attar of Roses perfume, playing ring around the rosie, rose-colored glasses and sentimental songs.

Artificial flowers.

As no record was made of these cats in their natural habitat among the hedgerows, their natural migration pattern, if any, is not known. While residing at Mewingham Manor they settled into a seasonal pattern of living in the rose bushes in the formal gardens during the summer, then "migrating" into the hot house along with the potted roses when the cold weather threatened.
