About Winter's Magic...

Discovered by Captain Katt in a harrowing trip to the far north exploring the Arctic regions. He carefully captured the felinus arcticus and took them aboard ship on a large block of ice to keep them comfortably cool for the lengthy voyage back to England and Mewingham Manor.

Felinus arcticus is native to the frozen regions of the north, with some members of the species living as far south as Alaska, Canada and Scandinavia.

Some members of Felinus arcticus have adapted to life in the warmer climate at Mewingham Manor, gravitating to the frozen pond in the winter. They become more active at the first signs of winter, playing in the new snow and attempting to capture snowflakes on their paws.

Cold weather, snow and observing the many design variations of the snowflake. They have a craving for ice cream and often can be spied admiring themselves in smooth ice.

High summer in England.

Some members of the species migrate north to colder regions at the first sign of autumn. Those who have adapted to the seasonal climate at the manor stay throughout the year.
